We have an exciting opportunity for an 3D Designer to join our Design team based at our site in Kingswinford.
This role is full-time on-site.
This role is part of a small team producing high quality, accurate and timely drawings of our products using software within Solidworks.
Key responsibilities include;
- Produce 3D drawings using software within 'Solidworks' within agreed KPI's inline with agreed processes
- Complete revisions, reworks and feasibilities as appropriate
- Liaise with engineers and surveyors to resolve issues/queries
- Use CRM to update order progress through the business
- Input data into Applications specific spreadsheets to aid reporting and tracking of drawings/ amendments
- Support GDS, Field Service, Sales, Production and RND in resolving customer queries
- Assist the customer service team as appropriate with complaints
- Be involved in and instigate any process/ customer service improvements for the team
- Take, and resolve technical queries for wide range of problems with lift products (e.g. resolve abort technicalities)
- Rework/revise customer drawings to customer specified spec
- Any other duties deemed reasonable, which reasonably correspond to the general character of the role and level of responsibility.
Essential Skills;
- Excellent customer service skills
- Technically competent
- Good communicator both verbal and written at all levels
- Ability to look for improvements in processes/ procedures
- Attention to detail & focused
- PC literate (e.g. office, word, excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability/willingness to learn a new design system
If you have worked in a design environment previously then this would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided.

£21,500.00-£23,000.00 per year
