    Internal IT Support - Oxford, United Kingdom - Incite Insight

    Description

    This is a role based in Oxfordshire in areally interesting company we need someone who loves technology andwants to build a career in IT you must have a good basic grasp oftechnology andterminology.

    KeyResponsibilities: You will be responsible fordiagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues ensuring theefficient operation of enduserdevices

    • Provide firstline technicalsupport to internal staff resolving hardware and software issuespromptly.
    • Install configure and maintainenduser devices including desktops laptops andperipherals.
    • Assist in the administration andmaintenance of IT infrastructure including servers routers andswitches.
    • Respond to help desk tickets andinquiries in a timely & professionalmanner.
    • Conduct regular system and softwareupdates to ensure security andperformance.
    • Educate and support endusers ontechnology best practices andusage.
    • Collaborate with external vendors forequipment procurement and maintenance.
    • DocumentIT processes procedures and troubleshooting steps for knowledgesharing.
    • Participate in IT projectscontributing to the planning and implementation of newtechnologies.

    Experience:The ideal candidate should possess thefollowing:

    • Experience with Windowsenvironment Serverand 2022)
    • Proficiencywith MS Office/365
    • AD DNS DHCP Group Policyadministration experience
    • Handson experiencewith computers laptops printers and mobile devices including setupadministration andrebuilding.

    DesirableSkills/Nice to Have: In addition to the keycompetencies the following skills and experiences aredesirable:

    • O365/Azure Administrationexperience including Teams SharePoint Online Email (Hybrid topremise)
    • BackupSoftware
    • VMware
    • Wireless
    • AntiVirus

    • VPN
    • PowerBI
    • MDM
    • Writing ITDocumentation
    • Familiarity with Ubuntu and MacOS
