    Description

    Holt Executive is proud to work alongside a leading electro-optics design and manufacturing company, that is in search of a Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join their expanding Engineering team.


    The successful candidate will have the exciting responsibility of spearheading the development of cutting-edge electronics while providing crucial leadership to the team.


    Key Responsibilities for the Senior Electronics Design Engineer:
    - Demonstrate expertise in circuit design, components, and PCB technology.
    - Play a pivotal role in projects, setting high standards for engineering practices and serving as a role model in the field.
    - Engage in regular communication with senior management, clients, and other key stakeholders, focusing on tactical and strategic oversight of projects, technology, and team growth.
    - Lead the enhancement of technology within the company, offering specialized knowledge in technology areas and applying them to R&D initiatives.
    - Provide technical leadership for multi-disciplinary projects, promoting a systematic approach and delivering solutions to customers.
    - Offer valuable insights into resource planning for engineers under supervision.
    - Manage a sub-team of engineers, overseeing their training and development needs.

    Key Skills and Experience for the Senior Electronics Design Engineer:
    - Proven experience in leading and supervising projects or teams for both routine and non-routine tasks.
    - Comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge of electrical and electronic designs.
    - Proficiency in analysis-based activities such as circuit emulation, performance evaluation, and power budgets.
    - Ability to identify and address project risks, schedules, and critical design activities.
    - Understanding of the entire project lifecycle, from opportunity development to ongoing customer support.
    - Track record of applying innovative approaches to engineering and leadership challenges.
    - Competence in Embedded Software Design, including ARM/KEIL.
    - Familiarity with Motors and drive technology and the ability to evaluate motor performance.
    - Knowledge of control systems analysis and techniques, with the capacity to communicate these effectively.
    - Skilled in using analysis and simulation tools like Python, Matlab, Simulink, LT-Spice, and more.
    - Proficient in management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Project.
    - Experience in PCB design tools like Altium, Cadence Or CAD, and design resilience techniques like Failure Mode Effects Analysis.
    - Understanding of designing electronics for challenging environments commonly found in Military equipment.
