- Identify, develop, promote and lead cross-college student activities
- Provide support and advocacy for welfare issues by managing a proactive, responsive information service for learners
- Develop and manage Students' Union sponsored clubs, societies, events, campaigns and social activities
- Responsible for the promotion and distribution of Students' Union cards, as well as identifying other possible sources of income
- Supporting the recruitment and management of Students' Union Officers
- Knowledge of the National Union of Students (NUS) and experience of working with students or volunteers.
- A proactive and positive approach and commitment to providing an excellent service would be beneficial.

The Sheffield College is a further and higher education institution dedicated to providing academic, vocational, and professional qualifications to approximately 13,000 young people and adults annually. Our mission is to transform lives through learning, advocating for inclusivity and diversity at every step.
About the Role
Join us as a Student Union President at The Sheffield College, where you will be responsible for the day to day oversight of the college Students' Union functions and events, including contributing to strategic development of the Union to increase engagement with it, both within College and in the wider community. This role will also ensure there is a fully democratically elected team of student volunteers in the roles of SU Officers and that there is a wide range of engaging events and campaigns for students.
