    Description

    Working for one of the largest social housing providers offering the opportunity to take on a Gas Engineer on a permanent basis to cover Oxford and surrounding areas.

    Servicing and repair duties for domestic boilers, heating systems, unvented cylinders and control systems within domestic properties.

    • Carrying out servicing, testing, repairs and minor installations
    • Mainly working on social housing, occupied and void properties
    • Conducting safe and proper use of all mechanical and non-mechanical plant and equipment under their direct control.
    • Complete works in conjunction with all health and safety procedures, policies and legislation.
    • ACS core accreditation in domestic Gas with cookers and fires.
    • City & Guilds, NVQ level 3 or similar
    • LPG, Commercial
    • Working hours - Full Time (39 hours per week)
    Participate in an out of hours emergency rota and attend call-outs as required.
    Call outs during the Summer are 1 in 8 weeks
    Time and a half paid
    Full driving licence and able to travel between sites.
    Flexible approach to working hours and undertake call-outs as part of out of hours rota.
    38,000-£48,000 per annum - depending on skills and experience
    Van and fuel card included

    Annual holiday entitlement (plus statutory bank holidays); a defined contribution pension scheme; trust based flexible working and a Confidential Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).
