Description
The Belfry Hotel & Resort is an award-winning hotel, home

We are writing a new and exciting chapter in the history of
The Belfry. A major expansion and renovation project has begun at our resort, due
for completion in Autumn 2025. With a substantial investment in excess of £80
million, we are enriching our resort including the addition of a new event
space, The Masters Suite, 149 extra bedrooms, a state-of-the-art leisure club,
and much more.

Salary
The on-target earning potential for this role is a £25896
annual salary, comprising a base salary of £24232 supplemented by an estimated 1664
in gratuities per annum, ensuring a rewarding compensation package.
The Belfry
Meetings and Events:
At The
Belfry we have beautiful event spaces. Our comprehensive and stylish meeting
facilities comprise of 24 conference and banqueting rooms and can cater for a
variety of events from board meetings to a full-scale conference or a product
launch,. The resort also caters for more leisure-based events such as weddings,
christenings and birthday celebrations.
About the
role:
As a
Meetings and Events Team leader you will be responsible for checking that the BEO details are correct with
customer, ensuring all information is passed to relevant departments and to
monitor the setup team and ensure their work is of the highest standard and all
rooms are set correctly.
You will also be responsible for:
• Meet and greet all company organisers ensuring
a warm welcome to the hotel.
• Deal with complaints/problems politely and
make every effort to resolve these with minimal inconvenience to the customer.
• Ensure effective and efficient lines of
communication are developed and maintained, including exercising appropriate
shift hand-over procedures
• Training and coaching staff to maximise
performance and consistently deliver 100% guest satisfaction
• Supervise and motivate staff to encourage and
obtain maximum commitment and efficient service.
• Carry out other duties that may be necessary
from time to time.
• Passionate about the industry and poses an
ability to work on own initiative
