    Job title: Interim Head of Finance

    Responsible to: Director of Finance and Resources

    Contract type: Interim for 6 months

    Location: Holborn

    Hours: Full time hybrid 2 days in the office

    Salary: £65k

    Are you a passionate and experienced accountant who is looking for their next role?

    This exciting and progressive Head of Finance role is working for a membership body who offer support to medical practitioners.

    You will be responsible for ensure the day to day financial reporting and planning of the finance team is carried out efficiently and effectively.

    In your role as day to day duties as Head of Finance will include;

  • Prepare annual budgets
  • Complete monthly management accounts
  • Consolidate statutory accounts
  • Oversee the purchase and sales ledger
  • Ensure income is being processed accurately
  • Work closely with the senior management team and assist with financial plan and projects The skills that you will be bring to your as Head of Finance will include;
  • Experience in a similar role ideally with a education or membership setting
  • Proven track record in change management and making efficiencies with processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of an accounting software such as SUN
