    A Health & Social Care Teacher is needed in a Coeducational Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.

    The school is seeking a Health & Social Care Teacher with experience of teaching KS4 to KS5 classes.
    This Health & Social Care Teacher role will be full time and long term.

    Standard responsibilities for this Health & Social Care Teacher role will include but not be limited to; planning lessons, assessing pupil progress and attending team meetings/parents evenings.

    The rates of pay for this Health & Social Care Teacher position will be between £180 to £290 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each candidate.

    The School
    A heavily subscribed school with a percentage of pupils applying to Russell Group universities.
    Providing a balanced and broad curriculum, the school focuses on subjects that contribute to the PE Baccalaureate.
    The proportion of pupils achieving this at the end of Year 11 is well above the national average.

    Extra-curricular activities also play a large part of the school's life, including music and sports events, as well as museum trips.

    In terms of academic achievements, the school produces results that placed it within the top 1% nationally for the fifth year running.

    96, students achieve more than one grade higher than they would in an average school.

    Such progress, alongside the best A-level results in the borough, reflect the exceptional dedication with which everyone in the school has applied themselves.

    It is the school's aim to make sure that staff are as well supported as they can be.

    They have a zero tolerance approach to anything that interrupts the learning in a classroom and the central team that deals with both behaviour and homework detentions does so to make sure that staff are as free as possible to do the three things that matter most:
    mark, plan and teach.
