    As the VP Financial Crime Controls you'll be responsible for managing the Cyclical Regulatory Risk and controls and influencing global activities whilst ensuring that they are compliant with UK regulatory requirements.

    You'll be responsible for leading a team in managing various projects including business process automation transformation.

    The difference you'll make:

  • Leading development of the financial crime risk and control profile for SCIB UK and on-going improvements to st Line business risk identification, assessment and mitigation, working alongside line of defence
  • Executing and leading the evolution and embedding of Financial Crime st line controls, including, procedures, systems, and user manuals
  • Leading st line governance, reporting and MI to executive level, actively contributing to internal and external regulatory reporting requirements across SCIB UK and Global
  • Providing direction and management of continuous data quality improvements, reporting and process automation and the digitalisation agenda for the Economic Crime Prevention & KYC teams for UK SCIB, working collaboratively with global and regional colleagues
  • Developing a team of subject matter experts, providing advice, guidance and improving protection for SCIB business and clients.
  • What you'll bring:

  • Demonstrable experience working within a financial crime and regulatory environment, preferably in the Financial Services Industry
  • Ability to identify risks and mitigate them by implementing/enhancing controls
  • It would also be nice for you to have:

  • Financial Crime Compliance Subject Matter Expertise and experience in Financial Crime Monitoring and Testing, Assurance, Advisory, Policy Implementation role or Financial Crime Audit function
  • Experience in leading and managing a team
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience in the interpretation of risk and control data
  • ACAMs, ICA or equivalent is highly desirable
