We are actively seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated
Family Worker to contribute to our successful team.


Location:
Based at HMP Erlestoke, Devizes, Wiltshire


Hours:
Full-time (37.5 hours per week)


Salary:
£27, £31,529.41 dependent on experience


Responsibilities:


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Communicating with family member on the progress of a service user and providing information on the recovery process.
  • Assessing each service user's current family situation, identifying concerns about the impact of substance misuse on close personal relationships.
  • Assisting on making realistic plans to aid the recovery process.
  • Providing essential recovery work to vulnerable people and their families.

About You:

To thrive in this role, we are looking for individuals who possess:

  • Considerable experience of working directly with families in a field such as prison, social work, drug and alcohol recovery, probation, health, education, youth, and community.
  • Sound working knowledge of Child Protection.
  • Ability to engage with people of diverse backgrounds.
  • Sensitivity in working with complex family issues.
