Description
We are looking for a
Team Leader to join our
Production Team based at our site in
Kingswinford.


The purpose of this role is to support production activities in the area of responsibility and also to support the Management team in monitoring and driving quality, efficiency, productivity.


This role requires a high level of organisation and the skills to organise work within a team and also the ability to problem solve to ensure smooth production.


This is a semi-productive role which will require the ability to work within a team and also step up to manage performance.

It is expected that the role will be 80% productive whilst spending 20% of time with team management activity.


Key Responsibilities;

  • Lead and motivate a small team within production
  • Allocating daily tasks to operators and ensuring output against SIC's and in line with health & safety standards
  • Monitor quality conformance in the area
  • Record, and report on the output in line with production schedule
  • Stock control monitor parts and shortages
  • Be actively involved in projects and improvements of the area
  • Setting, checking and calibration of all gauging equipment
  • Responsibility for TPM and 5's of the area.
  • Training of operators with regard to output targets, performance, adherence against KPI's and issues affecting quality

Skills required;

  • Computer literate and competent using Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Assembly and test build experience
  • Experience of CNC or precision machinery
  • Organised, methodical and logical with a positive attitude towards problem solving
  • Must have flexibility in working hours
  • Engineering experience would be an advantage
