    As our new Business Development Director, you will collaborate with other senior colleagues in the commercial and delivery teams.

    You'll have the crucial role of giving your strategic thinking to identify, tailor and progress opportunities in the utilities sector.

    The team is made up of several salespeople, who generate new opportunities and/or lead on responses to large data technology programmes.

    You will lead high-value opportunities (sales worth millions of pounds) developed through our Commercial team and through our strategic technology partnerships (Microsoft, AWS, Red Hat, Snowflake and OutSystems).

    Lead the full sales lifecycle, from selecting the right solution for customers, competitive pricing and giving bid perspectives.
    You will oversee sales data and documentation and evaluate performance for the whole sales process.

    Have practical experience selling to utility sectors such as energy (including renewable), electricity, natural gas, water supply or similar.

    Proficient in Microsoft Suite (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and customer databases such as Salesforce or similar.
    Showcase your commercial acumen and influencing skills whilst maintaining positive rapport.
