Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Women & Children's Division at Broomfield Hospital.
We are seeking a diligent and organised individual to join our team as a Paediatric Patient Coordinator. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth tracking of patients through the Paediatric patient tracking list.
This 10 months fixed term post that heavily support the Paediatric recovery plan.

Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity for a 10 month fixed term contract within Women & Children's to support with the Paediatric pathway.
Work within a specific clinical area to facilitate the smooth running of the patient journey by ensuring that co-ordinated and streamlined administrative processes revolve around the patient and their individual needs.
Provide administrative support to all clinical staff within the clinical area including Consultants, Nurse Specialists and Junior Doctors ensuring effective co-ordination of their diaries etc. this will include cancellation and reinstating of clinics in line with planned and unplanned leave.
Support the clinical team, Operational Manager and other Divisional managers in ensuring the speciality are able to deliver safe and effective services whilst also ensuring compliance with contractual access targets , RTT.
Ensuring a consistent and effective administration service is maintained at all times.
Good telephone communication skills especially dealing with patients, doctors, nursing teams and outside agencies.
