    Job role: Behavioural Teaching Assistant

    Location: Huddersfield(HD3)

    Contract: Full-time (Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm)

    Teaching Personnel are looking for a strong behavioural Teaching Assistant to support in a Secondary School. The successful candidate must have at least 5 GCSEs including Maths and English and have some understanding of the curriculum.

    About the role:

    The position of the Teaching Assistant will involve

    • Being able to build strong and trusting relationships
    • Be required to work either with small groups or on a 1:1 basis
    • Being resilient and support students to persevere through difficult situations
    • There are opportunities for the role to become permanent with the school after a qualifying period

    Requirements:

    • Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
    • Willing to travel
    • Have an overseas criminal clearance or willing to apply for one
    • Have a child enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
    • Minimum of six months UK residency
    • We do not accept those on skilled worker visas
    • Please ensure you have references available upon request covering the last 24 months of employment

    All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
