    Test Analyst/Quality Assurance Engineer (Digital Platforms)
    Permanent Position - Hybrid

    We're looking for an enthusiastic and resourceful Quality Assurance Engineer to help us deliver amazing software to our customers in a tightly regulated industry.

    If you enjoy working with developers, have experience of Web Application and App testing and are methodical and conscientious in your approach to testing to ensure delivery of quality systems that support our customers with excellent usability and stability, then get in touch.

    E.on Next is seeking an experienced agile led quality assurance engineer with hands-on experience in testing both manual and automated tests.

    We are looking for someone to join our expanding team and work on cutting edge web and app projects to support building quality into all areas of the delivery process.

    Testing is an integral part of our delivery process and you will be a part of the evolution of the practice of continuous testing in our digital experience and products teams.

    Our QA testers do not just write tests, they actively work with our developers, product owners and other stakeholders to make sure all our code is written with quality in mind from the get go.

    We're looking for a quality assurance engineer who can help keep us on our toes and keep us thinking about the quality of everything we deliver.

    Work closely with all members of the SCRUM development team and evangelise quality.

    Test implementations and revisions of E.ON Next main web application and mobile applications defined by requirements and user stories to ensure the highest level of quality possible.

    Be responsible for the end to end test process from planning to release, producing high quality test artefacts for each part of the test lifecycle.

    Help create test harnesses and scripts and continuously improve test coverage Isolate, reproduce and report defects
    Help verify defect fixes during the application development lifecycle
    Monitor and report on the quality of builds from our CI/CD pipeline
    Build out our current automation framework written in Cypress
    Integrate automation framework with saucelabs to run on different platforms.
    Integrating automation tests within CI pipeline with Xray on JIRA
    Introduce live monitoring on production using Dynatrace
    Please note this role is a hybrid role of manual and automated.

    We are predominantly looking for a mid level automation tester that is keen on upskilling with guidance from senior tester.

    ON Next, we're looking for the brightest and best to join our growing Digital team and create the right culture and environment that is fun to be in You will need to have a practical understanding of the fundamental test process as it applies to both waterfall and agile delivery and the creation of test plans, test cases, test exit reports related to these software methodologies.

    You will need to be familiar with Jira and/or Azure Devops where you will be responsible to manage and organise your workload with the team.

    2+ years of experience with consumer-facing web applications with millions of customers


    Bonus:
