Role profileAs a Senior Solution Architect you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive solutions that enable organizations to use their data for actionable insights and personalized customer experiences.

Demonstrating your extensive experience in IT and architecture, with a focus on master data solutions and segmentation built on Treasure Data, you will lead the development of scalable, efficient, and innovative data platforms.

Reporting directly to the Principal Domain Architect, you will collaborate with multi-functional teams to define technical strategies, drive innovation, and deliver progressive solutions that drive business outcomes.

Your day-to-day will consist of, but not limited to:

• Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of data and segmentation solutions, with a focus on architecting master data management and segmentation solutions built on Treasure Data.
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and business partners to understand requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Architect scalable and reliable data platforms that integrate diverse data sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and accessibility.
• Design and implement master data solutions to establish a single source of truth for critical business entities, such as customers, products, and transactions.
• Develop sophisticated segmentation strategies and algorithms to enable personalized customer experiences and targeted marketing campaigns.
• Define and implement data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks associated with data management.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and methodologies to optimize data processing, storage, and analysis workflows.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in data management, segmentation, and analytics, seeing opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define product roadmaps, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs.

What is needed to succeed in this Role?

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in IT, with a strong background in data architecture, engineering, and analytics.
• 5+ years of experience working as an architect, with a consistent track record of designing and delivering master data and segmentation solutions.
• Extensive experience architecting solutions using Treasure Data or similar platforms for data management and segmentation.
• Deep understanding of data modelling, schema design, and ETL processes, with expertise in SQL and data warehousing technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, with experience in building data pipelines and analytics applications.
• Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, and their data services.
• Experience with design and architecture of serverless distributed solutions for large scale internal and customer facing products, preferably in AWS.
• Experience integration with Salesforce will be highly regarded.
• Deep understanding of cloud computing platforms, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with designing solutions with respect to non-functional requirements and ensuring the implementation of them.
• Strong knowledge of database technologies, including relational and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with collaborators at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a passion for innovation, problem-solving, and continuous learning.
• Using your excellent written and verbal communication skills, you can communicate complex technical concepts and solution designs to non-technical partners in a clear and understandable manner, fostering a shared understanding of the technical direction of the products.
• Confident with the ability to influence and persuade.
• Analytical and results focused.
• An understanding of how complex matrixed organizations operate; global experience is a big advantage

Nice to have:

• Expertise on modular/composable architecture, evolutionary architecture and working in a product-based setup.
• Experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka, and distributed computing frameworks.
• Extensive experience delivering solutions within B2C & B2B domain including validated project contributions as a Solution Architect.
• Validated experience as a consultant, with experience rolling out projects globally.
• Involved with at least two end-to-end full lifecycle projects.
