Purpose of Role


You will work closely with the Head of Training and Instructional Designer, to review, scope and agree content requirements, identify best solutions and design and present digital content to the highest possible standard.


You will also have responsibility for the review and quality control of digital content, working with key stakeholders to ensure content remains best in class.


Person Spec
We are looking for somebody with a strong education background, ideally with experience in the built environment. You will be highly organised and detail-focused - a completer-finisher. You have had good experience of developing educational content to a high standard.


Accountabilities

  • Work as an integrated part of the team
  • Identify areas where performance and efficiencies can be improved.
  • Understanding of the commercial element to ensure sustainable growth of our curriculum.
  • Designing and curating digital learning and development content pathways
  • Work alongside the Head Training to align the budget, scope of works and timeframes
  • Review existing resources and have the creative freedom to advise and define the most suitable methods and approaches to learning design using
  • Identify and manage an outsourced supply chain

Responsibilities

  • Design both digital and blended learning solutions, including eLearning, interactivity, video content, animation, and facetoface training.
  • Develop digital learning assets using Articulate Storyline, Rise and the Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role play, games etc)
  • Establish and maintain a resource library of elearning materials following strict version control and branding procedures.
  • Amend and revise programmes as necessary, to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment and due to regulatory changes.

Experience Skills Required

  • Proven knowledge and experience of eLearning authoring tools, Articulate 360 and Vyond
  • Knowledge of SCORM, xAPI and other learning management and record storage systems an advantage
  • Understanding of neuroscientific and learnercentric design principles will be advantageous but can be developed in role
