Description
We are looking to recruit a Private Client Legal Secretary for a permanent opportunity with a well-regarded law firm based in Bury St Edmunds.
Working within the Private Client Team, you will support the business, in particular, the lawyer who you are assigned, by providing efficient and effective secretarial and administrative support, delivering outstanding quality, client care and client satisfactionat all times.
- Accurately preparing documents, including letters, forms, documents, Wills, LPAs, and invoices including audio transcription
- Maintaining accurate records and databases, including making submissions to relevant online services, authorities and bodies
- Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, executors, Probate Registry and other thirdparties
- Helping enquiries both by phone and in person, recommending appropriate services and arranging consultations and callbacks and following up 'open' enquiries as appropriate
- Providing clients with a high level of service; resolving any queries or concerns promptly and courteously.
- Monitoring diary notes and informing of events and deadlines.
- Providing support to other team members as required, including reception cover.
It will be necessary for you to be able to confidently use a range of software packages, although predominantly Word, Outlook and Excel, and possess clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
You must be able to work well under pressure, in close partnership with our Private Client team, and be able to multitask and manage a variety of requests at one time.
