- Understanding the Group's "Common Role" Framework for each of the Santander Job Families and engage and educate Senior Managers across the Organisation on its mechanics.
- Liaising with business leads, for each of the job families determine the relevant common roles for the UK workforce. Overlay local organisation design principles.
- Constructing a catalogue of job profiles for all seniority levels in the remaining job families.
- Overlaying job evaluation methodology and principles to ensure outputs are reflective of both the job activity and seniority.
- Supporting in the creation of career pathways.
- Contributing and input as required into related activities around organisation (and job) design, reward and remuneration, industrial relations.
- Practical knowledge and application of Job Evaluation methodologies (E.g. Hay Kornferry, Towers Watson, McLagan, Mercers)
- Knowledge of Reward / Compensation Frameworks as well as the job Frameworks

Join our community.
We have an exciting opportunity for a HR manager to take lead in engaging with HR professionals and senior managers across the Bank to build the job profile catalogue, and develop career pathways. You'll be working in line with our Strategic goals of strengthening our talent management in the UK and leveraging the Group's "Common Role" framework.
You'll support in continuing to provide clear career pathways for this population of people, and also provides the Bank with richer skills data for the purposes of modelling Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP).
