    We are looking for an Internal Communications Lead , for an initial period of 6 months.

    This role requires an experienced, driven, Internal Communications Lead, with a proactive approach, and a talent for writing engaging copy to deliver our internal communications strategy.

    Stolt-Nielsen (SNL) are experts in bulk-liquid logistics and sustainable land-based aquaculture. We also invest in opportunities aligned to these industries.

    What You Will Be Doing

    We are about to embark on an exciting new phase of our strategy. We welcomed a new CEO in September 2023, and this role will be key to supporting him to continue to communicate his vision for the company to all employees.

    This is an exciting period of change for our people as we continue to transition to new ways of working. As our Internal Communication Lead you will be responsible to ensure that the long-term strategy is communicated and understood. You will focus on partnering with the CEO and key business areas, including HR and Finance to help plan and deliver an effective communication programme with a focus on improving employee engagement. To do so you need to develop strong working relationships at all levels and across geographical boundaries.

    You will be part of an energetic, collaborative, communications team located at Stolt-Nielsen's London office with colleagues around the world.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the internal communications strategy and plan.
  • Responsible for the successful global roll out of the group's new strategy.
  • Oversee content for all CEO and leadership team employee communications, including town hall meetings, written content, and other channels used for engaging with our 2,000 onshore and 4,000 onboard employees.
  • Initiate ideas, develop concepts and deliver plans according to agreed schedules.
  • Work in partnership with HR, acting as a trusted advisor on employee engagement issues.
  • Work with the wider Corporate Communications team to align messages and contribute to the forward-planning processes of the Group.
  • Experience

  • 10+ years of people, culture and internal communications, and a proven track record of taking ideas and turning them into engaging content.
  • A proven track record of creating and delivering internal communication strategies that engage employees and create a positive working environment.
  • Experience of delivering creative and innovative internal communications campaigns.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects with competing priorities.
  • Ability to work with senior leaders with confidence and become a trusted advisor.
  • Experience of internal social media and collaboration platforms, specifically Teams, SharePoint and Yammer.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to write and edit engaging copy.

  • This role will report to the Head of Corporate Communications.
  • We have a 3 days in the office 2 days from home policy.
