Job Description
We are currently seeking a Principal Civil and Structural Engineer to join our team in Croydon. This role involves working on Major Civils projects related to tunnelling and offers a chance to be part of an exciting and growing project portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a technical advisor for the team, overseeing the technical work of others.
- Provide specialized technical input throughout all stages of design.
- Develop procedures to ensure high-quality and cost-effective work.
- Participate in project deliverables reviews.
- Ensure quality control of design calculations and drawings.
- Assist in the development of engineering budget and schedule.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil or Civil & Structural Engineering, MSc/MEng in Soil Mechanics/Geotechnical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Professional membership and experience in Reinforced Concrete design.
- Familiarity with Geotechnical Engineering principles.
