    Learning Support Assistants for Pre-School up to year - Haydon Abbey School and Pre-School

    We are looking for someone who can make a difference to a child's learning, who is committed to developing self- confident and independent children.

    Bucks Pay Range 1 – 2 depending on experience and qualification.


    Contract type:
    Permanent


    Hours:
    Term time only, (30-minute unpaid lunch break)
    8:15am – 3pm at Main School
    8:30am – 3:45pm at Pre-School
    For the right candidate we may look at part time hours

    Haydon Abbey is a very popular oversubscribed school in the centre of Aylesbury which allows children to achieve their potential within a secure, safe, nurturing and welcoming environment.

    The successful candidates may be required to support the learning in classes or to provide support for individual children.

    The positions will entail working with children throughout the school from our Pre-School up to KS2. working alongside class teachers in a specific phase in the school
    supporting small groups of, and/or individual children with their learning
    being responsible for the learning and achievement of children you work with
    supporting children in a pastoral role
    demonstrating high expectations for children
    withholding the school values at all times

    A good level of English and Maths skills are essential.

    A knowledge and understanding of EYFS and a relevant qualification is desirable for roles in our Early Years phase but is not essential.
