    Grants Administrator - United Kingdom - KMK Recruitment

    Description


    We are excited to partnering with a city based charity who is looking to recruit a Temporary Grants Administrator to cover for some long term leave for approx 3-4months.

    Working as part of a team, the purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth operation of the Grants Department and its funding programmes.

    Support during this particular period is crucial as it covers both the financial and operational year end. As such there will be a strong emphasis on administration using in main the grants database on Salesforce.

    Projects will include the running and updating of reports, updating of dashboards, assisting with grants enquiries, offers and processing of payments, and the organising of events related to our funding programmes.

    As well as this you will also support with:
    Operations (particularly CRM)


    End-to-end data management of team functions using CRM System Salesforce, to include data entry, report and dashboard creation, and general record and data maintenance/ cleaning.

    Enable the smooth processing of grant-funding applications and relationship management, through use of software packages such as Form Assembly, Members and more.

    Liaise with external support agencies and software providers to resolve any operational issues.

    Communications (Foundation)To be the first point of contact for the Grants Department, answering enquiries via phone, email, letter and social media.

    Ensures applicants are dealt with compassionately and professionally. Event Co-ordinationTo assist in administering arrangements for a small number of events. Grant /Committee AdministrationTo assist with the preparation of meeting papers for circulation before board meetings.

    To ensure all systems, databases and hard copy files are kept up to date, remove duplicates and allow for timely processing and payment of grants.

    Additional InformationThe post holder may also be expected to carry out other duties, as reasonably requested.

    The personThe ideal person will have;Proven organisational and administrative capabilitiesHigh level of attention to detailSalesforce or other CRM experience (ideally Administrator level)Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to support applicants/grantees from a wide range of organisations and backgroundsProactive and organised team-player, with a can-do approach to challengesAbility to effectively manage workload, adjust to changing requirements and deliver to deadlinesComputer skills including Microsoft Office at highly proficient levelFull time: 5 days per week, 8 hours a day including 1 hour lunch (hours to be performed between 8am – 6pm with core hours of 10am – 4pm).

    Hybrid working available on request up to a maximum of 1 day working from home per weekWe are looking for someone to start from mid-June.
