    HSE OfficerStoke on Trent, Staffordshire£38,000 - £42,500 per annumPermanent Office based roleHours of Work 7am – 4pm Monday to Friday and 7am – 3pm on FridayHawk 3 Talent Solutions are recruiting for a HSE Officer for a growing manufacturing company based in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire.

    The RoleYou will be reporting to the Head of Operations.

    The Health, Safety and Environment Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental programs and initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a culture of safety within the organisation.

    You will collaborate closely with colleagues, department managers, and employees across all levels of the organisation to develop and maintain the company's health, safety and environmental requirements and objectives.

    DutiesDevelop and Implement HSE Policies and ProceduresConduct regular inspections and audits of facilitiesConduct Safety training for employeesInvestigate incidents and accidentsMaintain records for Health and SafetyEmergency plans and ProceduresInternal and External auditingCompliance and ReportingSkills/KnowledgeAt least 3 years in a similar role within the manufacturing industry is preferred.

    NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualificationStrong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for interacting with employees, managers and external contacts.

    Strong knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
    Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    Excellent organisational skills are crucial for managing multiple tasks, maintaining accurate records, and prioritising workload efficiently.
    Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with Google Suite would be an advantage.
