    Description
    Protocol Education are looking for a dynamic and motivated HLTA on behalf of a Primary School within Colchester.

    This individual will need to have at least a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification to join the team, covering Key Stage 2 classes during PPA, ECT and subject release time.

    This role will be two days a week within the school.

    The ideal candidate will have experience and understanding of working alongside and supporting children within an educational setting.

    You will need to thrive working with children and have a genuine passion, and excellent communication skills.

    An inspirational role model is a desirable trait for this role, working alongside both teachers and the wider school community to establish a supportive and nurturing learning environment.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Delivering engaging lessons planned by teachers, promoting learning and development.
    Supporting pupils within their learning.
    Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children to thrive.
    Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
    Promote positive behaviour management strategies.

    Key Requirements:
    Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification.
    Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
    Positive approach to child development and classroom management.
    Excellent organisation and communication skills both written and verbally.
    Demonstrates patience and calmness at all times.
    An empathetic and inspirational attitude with a genuine passion for supporting the development of children.

    All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
