    We're looking for 3 Senior Data Analysts.

    We're looking to recruit excellent data analysts to our team. It's an opportunity to use your skills on a range of fascinating and important issues.

    You will lead in providing high quality, accurate and timely analysis of survey and administrative data sets to support energy policy research and development.
    You'll identify, access, store and analyse survey, client and administrative data sets in order to demonstrate emerging trends, build and test hypotheses and demonstrate the need for change, whilst undertaking data focused project activities, exploring requirements and leading development initiatives in line with policy and procedure.

    The ideal candidate will have experience of analysing data in different contexts and using different tools and languages such as spreadsheets, R, SQL, and management information software like Tableau. Just as importantly, though, the ideal candidate will have a passion for using data to solve problems and design solutions that make a difference in people's lives.

    • Proven ability to carry out quantitative analysis on a range of data sources in a variety of contexts. This includes excellent numerical, analytical and statistical skills with proven ability and experience of using these in complex analysis tasks.
    • An ability to think creatively and consider emerging issues, proactively exploring these through data analysis and demonstrating findings to stakeholders from across the organisation.
    • Excellent communication skills and an ability to build relationships with staff at all levels of the Citizens Advice Service and external stakeholders.
    • Proven ability and experience of using analytical and reporting tools (e.g. SPSS, Excel, Tableau, scripting in R and/or Python etc.), and a good understanding of the strengths of each tool and the appropriateness of using them for specific analysis.

    We're a flexible employer, so this role may suit anyone who'd prefer a flexible arrangement to help their work/life balance, many of our colleagues spend most of their time working remotely. Whilst we prefer a blended approach between a local office, if one is near you, and home we're open to being flexible on location, occasionally a role may require you to be based in a certain location if that's the case it will be detailed in the advert or job description. This can be discussed in more detail during your interview.

    The National Citizens Advice operates from offices in England and Wales, with 4 regional offices based in Cardiff, London, Birmingham and Leeds, therefore all successful applicants must be based within England or Wales.
