Description
Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of 9 separate company payrolls paid on a monthly basis.
This involves starters, leavers, permanent changes, temporary changes, overtime and absence.
Release payslips and create BACs file for net pay.
Responsibility for the performance of the payroll function. Monitoring of KPI's including accuracy and customer service.
Determining priorities for the team and actioning accordingly.
Building relationships with department managers and administrators to ensure an effective payroll service is provided.
Processing of Attachment of Earnings as applicable
Pensions - Follow auto-enrolment and calculating contributions. Advise pension provider of new joiners, leaver and monthly contributions
National Minimum Wage checks
RTI submission
Year End process including P60 and P11d
Ensure receipt of and/or check payroll related forms and documents so they are processed accurately and on time.
Contribute to and administer various aspects of the organisation's compensation and benefits including advising Benefit platform providers of starter, leavers and changes.
Assist members of the HR and senior management team with any adhoc administrative duties,Ensure appropriate processing checks and reporting is in place to protect the business against fraud etc and are inline with auditing procedures.
Handle confidential information and maintain the security records and filesResolve enquiries from employees, HMRC, etc.

A successful Payroll Manager should have:
Proficiency in payroll software and systems.
Strong understanding of financial legislation and payroll processes.
Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
The ability to lead a team efficiently.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
