We are delighted to be working on behalf of one of the UK's largest manufacturers in their field of engineering.

Established in 1974, is a second-generation family business specialising in the design and manufacture of high-quality engineering systems.

Based in Huthwaite near Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, the company headquarters is ideally situated close tomotorway and public transport links in the East Midlands.


Four co-located facilities host the following in-house services: sales & estimating, mechanical and electrical engineering design, control and monitoring systems design, metalwork fabrication and painting, manufacturing, assembly, and testing, purchasingand accounts and training facilities.

They also have satellite offices also in London & Scotland.


Since its inception, the company has proudly supported many projects in the UK and overseas, exporting to over 40 countries across many market sectors.


Key responsibilities:


  • Responsible to the Works Supervisor and Lead Operative for the fabrication assembly, including welding, sanding ensuring a quality product to the standard manufacture tolerances.
  • Adhere to the instructions, requirements, and Information of each job / project.
  • Assist the Works Supervisor and Lead Operative and mentors, as required and inform of any urgently required equipment.
  • Inform Works Supervisor, Lead Operative and mentors of any concerns regarding parts, build, people, and equipment.
  • Maintain the tidiness, safety, and cleanliness of the work areas.
  • Working closely with the Manufacturing Team, Works Supervisor, Lead Operatives, mentors other Works Operatives and in addition the Applications Engineers, Contracts Engineer, and Engineering Director at all times.
  • Attend meetings as required/requested.
  • Comply with the requirements BS EN ISO 9001 quality system
