    Senior Marine Specialist - Risk Assessment

    If the answer is yes to any of the above then this one could be for you We are exclusively partnered throughout 2024 with one of Europe's leading Accident & Investigation businesses for all Offshore Investigation.

    Our client are regularly involved in a number of very high value "Risk Assessment" call-outs (globally), on behalf of major Offshore Wind and Marine asset owners and operators, offering a best-in-class service for Marine Engineering assessment and advisory services.

    The role of the Marine Engineering Specialist will be to play a focal part in managing a variety of Offshore engineering projects, including the companies consultancy/advisory services, detailed report writing and updating and upgrading FMEAs for DP and other critical systems.

    This Engineer will provide support to the Marine Engineering Director with work management, maintenance of client relationships, as well as carrying out product and business development, and tender preparation - internationally. The role of the Marine Specialist is too become "Famous in their space" through excellent service at all times, and therefore drive repeat business when and where possible.

    The position will require some travel, sometimes at short notice, to attend for surveys, inspections and client meetings, so this should be expected sporadically, but not regularly.

    The Risk Assessment arena holds a critical spot on the Marine Engineering supply chain, regardless of the overall end project - and this is a unique opportunity to come from outside of the niche and join one of the most pedigree names in the market.

    Our client are willing to be very flexible in terms of a working week, although head office for the Group in the UK is London, and it would preferable to have this person with the rest of the team 1-2 days per week.
