    We provide Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) designs for urban & rural roads, in addition to dual carriageway & motorways anywhere in the UK using the latest industry software.

    As well as specialising in TTM design, we also provide Vehicle Swept Path Analysis, Consultancy, RRRAP Assessments, BIM/ 3D design and traffic modelling.

    About the role of Apprentice CAD Designer:
    This is a full time and permanent position.

    In this role you will gain a Level 4 qualification in Engineering and will work with the design team to develop your skills and knowledge.

    Typical day to day responsibilities for an Apprentice CAD Designer include:

    Developing an understanding of the sector through observation and working closely with your mentorProducing and designing scaled and schematic temporary traffic management drawingsAssisting with design modifications to facilitate operationsMaking sure all temporary traffic management drawings are in accordance with guidelinesEnsuring all paperwork is up to dateMaintaining CAD models, drawings and associated filesWorking with Lead Designers to improve skills in BricsCAD and learning how to keep a consistent high standard of final presentation of temporary traffic management drawingsReceiving continual Health & Safety and Lantra approved training to help develop and keep up to date your knowledge and experience in temporary traffic managementCompleting all training associated with the apprenticeshipAbout you:You are organised, hard working and want to learn and forge a career for yourself.

    Essential Attributes for an Apprentice CAD Designer:

    Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) grades C (4) or Functional Skills Level 2 in English + Maths & ITDriving license or taking driving lessons - road knowledge/ awareness is paramount and you will be required to travel as part of your placementExcellent IT skillsExcellent level of written and spoken EnglishInterest in AutoCad or similar packagesExcellent communication skills in dealing with clients and colleaguesHigh level of accuracyAnalytical skillsCreative flairAble to generate ideas and put them into practiceAble to work in a small team and add value by being a team playerSo, if you want to join a winning team and be part of an innovative organisation which is focussed on company growth and employee progression, click on the apply button today.
