    About the RoleIn this role, you will:

    • Manage queries across the Non-Maintained Independent Market (NMI) and the specialist post-16 (SPI) sector
    • Market management of the Non-maintained Independent Sector, including contract management
    • Shape future strategies to support children and young people with additional needs and disabilities
    • Commission and monitor key support services
    • Develop Independent alternative provision framework
    • Commission new provisions to ensure value for money

    Aspects of this role push us to explore new ideas and innovative solutions in collaboration with operational colleagues and external partners. We aim for genuine co-production, focusing on young people's experiences and strengths within our communities.

    • Knowledge of commissioning process and/or procurement
    • Ability to analyze data and present information effectively
    • Experience in implementing evidence-based services and mobilizing change
    • Familiarity with project management
    • Strong administration skills and attention to detail
    • Pro-active problem-solving ability
    • Passion for making a difference to children and young people
