Responsibilities:
Design and execute control activities to mitigate risks related to financial reporting, operational processes, and compliance.nDevelop and implement internal control policies and procedures in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.nConduct internal control testing procedures to assess effectiveness and address deficiencies.nIdentify potential areas of risk through risk assessments and develop strategies for mitigation.nStay updated on regulatory requirements and industry standards to ensure compliance.nProvide training and guidance to employees on internal control policies and procedures.nCoordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audit engagements.nLead special projects aimed at enhancing internal controls.
Qualifications:
Qualified Accountant (ACA or equivalent) or Internal Auditor (MCIIA, CIA or equivalent)nPost-qualification experience and a background in internal audit and SOX compliance.nExperience within publicly listed companies.nStrong people and stakeholder management skills.nStrong analytical skills and attention to detail.nExperience with internal control software/tools preferred.nFlexibility to travel occasionally.
