    Grosvenor House Day Nursery

    Nursery Duty Manager/Third in Charge

    Full-time permanent position, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
    • Lead the staff to ensure quality care for children and enhance their learning experience.
    • Responsible for nursery opening and closing, covering for Manager and Deputy Manager when needed.
    This role involves various shift patterns within the nursery operating hours, not limited to term times.

    We aim to create a learning environment that empowers children to lead their own investigations and learning experiences.


    Responsibilities:
    • Supporting and collaborating with the Manager daily.
    • Assisting in staff recruitment and development, supervising staff and students.
    • Planning stimulating activities to support child development within the EYFS.
    • Creating an enabling environment for individual children to play, develop, and learn.
    • Performing duties to ensure the nursery's smooth operation and the safety of children, staff, and families.

    Requirements:

    • Passion and dedication to childcare.
    • Flexibility to work shifts between Monday to Friday.
    • Over 1 year of Early Years experience.
    • Commitment to ongoing development.
    • Certifications in Childcare.
