Description
Iconic Resourcing are proud to be partnering on a retained basis with Loganair, a true Scottish icon and the UK's largest regional airline.
Loganair has been flying since 1962 and serves Scandanavia and the British Isles. Alongside it's commercial activities, Loganair provides a key lifeline to those who call the Scottish Islands home.
Due to maternity leave in the team, Loganair are looking to add a Commercial Finance Analyst to the team for a period of 11 months.
Due to the nature of the leave, they are ideally looking for candidates available on a short notice or immediately.
Previous experience in a finance analyst or management accountant role would be highly beneficial.
On offer is a competitive salary plus strong benefits package including hybrid and flexible working options from their office near Glasgow Airport.
Responsibilities:
Month end responsibilities including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals & prepayments and posting relevant month end journals
Weekly flash reporting and cost coding
Providing support for the budgeting and reforecasting processes with associated analysis
Variance analysis
Working with the Business Partner to assist in the creation of departmental budgets and forecasts in conjunction with the department heads and budget holders
Business case analysis for new and existing routes
Presenting analysis to non-finance stakeholders
Ad-hoc analysis and continuous improvement
Previous Experience
The successful candidate is likely to be a part qualified or qualified by experience finance analyst or management accountant with experience combining month-end work with ongoing analysis in a complex business.
Previous experience working with Excel and datasets is required as is a strong analytical mind, able to interpret the numbers to support commercial decision making.
There will be a degree of business partnering in this role so strong stakeholder relationship building experience is desirable.On offer is a competitive salary plus benefits including hybrid and flexible working patterns.
