LV / HV Cable Jointer

LOCATION - Liverpool

SALARY - Starting from £33000 +


Working for a leading provider in utility contracting services and distribution network operators, in both the private sector and the public sector across the UK.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Underground cable laying, jointing, terminations and connections to substations. LV/HV from 400v up to 132KV.

Including but not limited to the following:

  • Jointing and Terminations connections
  • Connections to substations
  • Cable laying
  • Fault finding
  • Fault repair on Overhead Lines
  • Completion of test certificates
  • Complete Daily Risk Assessment
  • Adhere to IQA, Client and DNO Safety Rules
  • Follow IQA SHEQ Processes and Procedures
  • Ensure safety from the system for IQA personnel, members of the public and other companies

ABOUT YOU

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Jointing and Terminations experience

Essential training, qualifications and certifications:

  • WI
  • DE
  • SR
  • OP1 /OP 2/ OP
  • WL
  • Nonlicensed asbestos removal
  • Site safety certificate
  • Emergency First Aid at work

Salary:
From £33,000.00 per year


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Liverpool: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
