    Job summary

    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join the Clinical Systems Team at Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust. This role is integral to supporting our colleagues both within the team and across our organisation.

    The ideal candidate will rapidly develop expertise in our Clinical Systems, including SystmOne, RiO, Lilie, IAPTus, and SOEL. Your responsibilities will encompass providing robust support and undertaking vital configuration tasks, playing a crucial role in the effective management and continuous improvement of our clinical systems. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of our healthcare services whilst also growing your own skill set in a vibrant team.

    Main duties of the job

    In this role, you will provide essential support to Clinical Systems colleagues in the maintenance and development of systems. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the Clinical Systems Team, and the broader Digital Services to resolve incidents and queries escalated to 2nd Line Support.

    You will assist in maintaining system administration tasks and implementing configuration changes across all the Trust's Clinical Systems, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all service areas. Additionally, you will offer support to colleagues in the Clinical Systems Team, with a particular focus on Change and Development and 2nd Line Support. This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless operation and continuous improvement of the Trust's clinical systems.

    Job responsibilities

    The role involves significant support and development responsibilities related to Clinical Systems Change and Development projects within a healthcare setting. Key duties include aiding in the scoping, planning, and implementation of changes to the Clinical System, as well as maintaining a deep understanding of the Trusts Electronic Patient Record (EPR) systems. The role requires addressing complex user queries escalated from 1st Line Support, prioritising incidents, and ensuring timely updates to users.

    Additionally, the role involves performing regular system configuration tasks, such as updating letter templates and creating templates for precise appointment recording. You will also play a crucial role in supporting larger clinical system configuration projects, contributing to the seamless operation and enhancement of our clinical systems.

    The post holder will also be responsible for troubleshooting and identifying opportunities for system improvements. They may be required to cover other team functions temporarily to ensure business continuity. The role encompasses a wide range of tasks aimed at ensuring the efficient operation and continuous enhancement of the Trusts clinical systems.

    Essential

  • Qualified to NVQ level 4/5, Higher National Certificate, Foundation degree or equivalent professional qualification or working experience to the required level.
