- Completing tasks outlined in the Scheme Business Plan, ensuring progress within specified timeframes.
- Organizing Scheme/Trustee meetings, setting agendas, and preparing meeting packs for distribution to attendees.
- Recording minutes and establishing follow-up actions for Scheme/Trustee meetings, sending them for review in advance.
- Reviewing budgets, ensuring invoices are accurate, and managing timely settlements.
- Addressing member queries promptly and providing accurate guidance to administrators, clients, and customers.
- Solid experience in the pensions sector (such as in an administrative, scheme secretary, or related role).
- Knowledge of pensions regulations and legislation, with the ability to translate governance requirements into easily understandable documentation.
- Capability to collaborate with and oversee the Trustee's advisors to ensure key objectives are met.
- Understanding of pension trusteeship, along with significant awareness of current industry developments and issues.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the capacity to explain technical details in simple terms.
- Strong project management and budgeting abilities.

Our partner, a prominent pensions organization, is currently aiming to appoint Support Professional Trustees on a permanent basis. These individuals will play a key role in assisting the team in delivering effective trusteeship and consulting services. Initially, the focus of the role will be on supporting the team in providing services related to the governance of the pension schemes they oversee, including secretariat services for the schemes. The goal is for the individual to grow into an experienced professional trustee over time, and our client is committed to offering training and support to facilitate this development.
