    Are you a Senior UX/UI Designer on the search for your next role?

    My client are looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to play a crucial role leading design projects for their desktop, web, and mobile applications. You will work closely with the product and development teams to enhance user experience, establish consistent design patterns, and develop new features.

    The company is at the forefront of developing technologies, products, and systems aimed at enhancing maritime security, safety, and environmental sustainability. You will work with clients ranging from national coast guards to individual vessel owners, setting new standards in the maritime industry through innovation and quality.

    What you get:

    What you'll be doing:

    • Lead UX/UI design initiatives, ensuring a cohesive and intuitive user experience across all platforms.
    • Develop UX and UI design principles, guides, and templates to facilitate efficient development processes.
    • Work in collaboration with the product team to influence the product roadmap, integrating user experience design from the outset.
    • Uphold high standards of visual and interaction design across our product range.
    • Engage in prototyping and validation of new ideas to optimise design and reduce engineering efforts.
    • Utilise user testing and customer insights to refine product workflows.

    What you need:

    • Extensive experience in UX/UI design across desktop, web, and mobile platforms, supported by a strong portfolio.
    • Demonstrated ability in designing for B2B and B2G applications within an agile development environment.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and principles to stakeholders at all levels.
    • Proven capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring design consistency and setting high standards for usability.
    • Experience designing for diverse audiences and cultures is advantageous.
    • Experience with Figma is a plus.

    This position is hybrid, requiring a minimum of one day per week in the Cardiff office.
