    Temporary Contracts & Procurement Officer - Children's Services Reference no: Bury 0008 A04A / 1

    Pay Rate:
    £17.12 per hour PAYE Hours per week: 37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours

    Role Length:

    This opening assignment is for 3 months City: Bury, Greater Manchester Hybrid working Standard DBS disclosure required for this role The Contracts and Procurement Officer will play a key role in ensuring Children's Services undertakes robust procurement activity, evidences transparency, value for money and commissions high quality services on behalf of children and young people.

    Contribute to the development of a robust procurement culture within the department.
    Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement processes and systems.
    Develop services to provide high quality and value for money.
    Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of procurement systems and processes to ensure effective monitoring of services.
    Ensure that information from contract monitoring and reviews contributes to the development of commissioning strategies
