    Role Overview:

    We are looking for a dedicated and professional Call Handler to be part of our dynamic team in Hertfordshire. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, managing inbound and outbound calls, offering outstanding customer service, and ensuring seamless communication flow. This role plays a vital part in supporting our debt collection operations and fostering positive client relationships.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally and courteously.
    • Address client queries and provide precise information about their accounts.
    • Handle and resolve customer issues, escalating matters when required.
    • Maintain an updated understanding of our services, policies, and procedures.
    • Accurately document and maintain client details in our system.
    • Support the debt recovery process by communicating with debtors, negotiating payment terms, and tracking outstanding payments.
    • Collaborate with the debt recovery team for timely case resolutions.
    • Offer administrative assistance, drafting communications and handling payments.

    Key Requirements:

    • Previous experience in call handling or customer service.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
    • Proficient in utilizing computer systems and databases.
    • High level of accuracy and keen attention to detail.
    • Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Professional and empathetic manner with a client-centric mindset.
    • Effective organizational and time management capabilities.
