We are in search of a skilled Operations Manager eager to join our team.

About the Position

Take charge of all 'back office' operations at the school.
Act as the most senior non-academic staff member on the School Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
Cultivate strong and purposeful relationships with various stakeholder groups including school colleagues, headteachers, parents, Pod, and SSC colleagues.
Ensure the school runs safely, smoothly, and efficiently, allowing academic staff to focus on providing an exceptional holistic education.
Guarantee compliance with regulatory standards across all areas.
Maintain school buildings and facilities to high standards, ensuring they are clean, safe, and suitable for their purpose.
Lead initiatives aimed at generating additional revenue by leveraging school spaces such as sports facilities or buildings.
Address people-related concerns and inquiries, working closely with the central HR team, which includes handling pre-employment checks for staff and contractors.

To be eligible for this role, you should have experience managing a diverse team with a focus on commercial and operational aspects. We also expect:

Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills, capable of delivering clear and precise communications in written, verbal, or phone form.
Ability and assertiveness to proactively work under limited supervision, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Commercial acumen – the ability to make decisions weighing costs against benefits.
Capability to plan, organize, and prioritize a demanding workload.
