    We provide centralised support, expertise and guidance across our UK and Group operations, continuing to build on our success and trailblazing the way to our next stage of digital growth.

    Develop and manage nationally all aspects (Building Fabric, Mechanical. Electrical, Fire Systems, Security Systems and Building Management Systems) of the Vodafone Technical Estates operational maintenance contract.

    Develop, agree and implement maintenance working procedures and practices with the contractor and our Stakeholders that ensures we maximise our Uptime.

    Daily management and control of an operational budget of £17 million fixed and £2 million variable spend


    • Report and manage the resolution of all faults, call outs and reactive works undertaken by the maintenance contractor within the agreed KPI timescales ensuring we are technically and legally compliant.
    • Provide an overarching view of the CAFM system and other facilities systems that we utilise for fault and alarm monitoring, ensuring they remain up to date and fit for purpose.
    • Carry out the handover process from Projects to BAU service delivery ensuring the scope has been achieved before acceptance.
    • Develop, monitor, report and agree Emergency / Reactive working procedures and practices with the relevant contractor/s, Contract Manager/s and our Stakeholders to minimise operational impacts of any incidents.
    • Act as prime contact during any Major Incident / Service Incident undertaking a key management role during any property related Incident / Crisis.
    • Liaise with all property stakeholders to support their requirements, stay aligned to any future changes in the estate and communicate our objectives and investment when operating the Technical estate.
    Experience in a similar management role


    • Conversant with a wide range of building service systems and equipment
    • Good Financial management understanding
    • Responsibility of Budget / Financial Management of Contracts in Excess of £3 million.
    • Good Computer Knowledge working experience of using a CAFM package and CAD systems.
    • Must be able to drive and provide national coverage (Full driving licence) be prepared to stay away from home as necessary.
    • Contract Negotiation Experience / strong influence skills and ability to build relationships
    • Good team worker with an ability to provide effective management skills to the Outsourced supplier
