Who are we?Integrated Operational Solutions (I0S) Alliance - Part of the Anglian Water network, the IOS was set up in 2015 to concentrate on water recycling solutions and the clean water base.
The maintenance and refurbishment of the key infrastructure is managed by our partners Barhale, Kier and Morrisons they ensure everything is maintained and improvements made where necessary to ensure the infrastructures longevity and effectiveness.
What you will be doing as our Senior Planner? Effective Planning is a cornerstone of successful Project Management. The project plan is the roadmap to us delivering the project on time.It allows us to:
Identify the whole scope of the project and the resources required to deliver it, to understand and manage our key interfaces, identify, manage and mitigate risks, and to identify, exploit and maximise opportunities.
The Planner is a key member of the integrated project delivery teams in the IOS Alliance.You will be working in an integrated project delivery team to collaboratively develop and maintain accurate and robust project plans.
You will lead the Planning Team within IOS being responsible for the other Planners. You will be working closely with all other members of the team including Construction, Commercial, and Engineering.You will take ownership of the project plan, drive the project team to deliver to the plan and challenge any delay and deviation.
You will have at least five years\' experience of working on large scale or significant value projects within the Civil engineering sector, preferably in the Water Industry.
MS Project experience is essential.Responsibilities:
Lead collaborative planning and production meetings such that all team including suppliers have clarity of their requirements and IOS expectations at each stage of the project.
Collaboratively develop and maintain robust detailed project plans for the Delivery Team in accordance with IOS and AW requirements.Attend site regularly to gather programme update information.
Communicate the critical path and key activities in team meetings.
Ensure planning standards are maintained across IOS and published processes are adhered to.
Take ownership of the integrity of your project plans and ensure they stand up to detailed scrutiny.
Complete and comply with all operational site H&S requirements to ensure safe working practices.
Key Experiences/Skills & qualifications:
Site based or engineering background would be preferable.
Experience in one or more of civils, water, wastewater or M&E.Knowledge of current HSE requirements.
Good communicator able to communicate detailed data to a non-data literate audience.
Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workloads. Inclusion is for everyone.
