    Role and key responsibilities

    • Conduct case management, covering various areas such as wellbeing, sickness management, performance evaluations, and more
    • Handle high-volume and complex employee relations cases from start to finish, providing guidance to stakeholders throughout
    • Lead investigations and other meetings
    • Provide support during formal and informal proceedings and hearings
    • Ensure accurate documentation and processing of decisions
    • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including senior management and HRBPs
    • Escalate higher-risk cases to employment lawyers and senior HR leadership
    • Follow internal processes, ACAS codes of practice, and best practices
    • Oversee more complex employee relations projects like redundancy and TUPE, ensuring legal obligations are met
    • Manage communication with stakeholders and colleagues affected by any changes
    • Chair collective and individual consultation processes
    • Offer advisory services to HRBPs and the business on employee relations matters
    • Collaborate with other HR teams to streamline processes and enhance cross-team communications

    Skills and experience

    Our ideal candidate:

    • Holds a minimum of CIPD level 5 (or equivalent in experience) or is working towards it with at least level 3 achieved
    • Brings extensive experience in employee relations case management, approximately 3 years
    • Demonstrates excellent knowledge of UK employment law, especially in unfair dismissal and discrimination
    • Can effectively balance legal and commercial risks
    • Possesses strong prioritization skills to manage a demanding workload efficiently
    • Has exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage with senior stakeholders and provide sound legal advice
    • Is confident in providing constructive challenges and displays resilience
