    Recruit Wealth are delighted to be representing, once again, our multi award winning investment management client who possess an enviable 20 year track record in managed portfolios.

    Inspired by their clients, this is a highly notable business with an exemplary history managing over £1.4 billion of funds under management on behalf of private investors, trusts, charities and corporate bodies.

    They are able to offer a series of Active, Income, Enhanced Passive and Ethical Portfolios as well as its own funds with outstanding, consistent results for its clients.

    Excitingly, there a now the need to appoint a Client Relationship Manager who will focus on all business development activities, promoting the investment proposition to its internal adviser population as well as on-going/on-boarding advisory acquisitions.

    This opportunity is pivotal to the existing, highly experienced investment team, you'll be recognised as a key figure in its continued success story.


    Role Responsibilities:

    Working closely with the CEO, being responsible for the day-to-day execution of the business development strategy as well as sitting on the sales & marketing committee.

    Objectives

    • Developing and maintaining relationships with business stakeholders, including clients, partners or vendors
    • Building and promoting healthy, long-lasting relationships with the Financial Advisers
    • Responsible for the quality of reporting (webinars etc) and content, external and internal
    • Ensure all supporters receive periodic visits, exploring specific needs and anticipating new opportunities.
    • Maintain a CRM database to ensure discipline and process in relationships.
    Accomplishing Business Development

    • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities working with the Financial Advisers
    • Achieve an effective marketing/sales strategy by contributing to marketing and sales information/recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
    • Preparing and completing action plans, implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
    • Resolving problems, completing audits, identifying trends, determining system improvements, implementing change.
    • Developing a compelling value proposition for firms, identifying marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements.
    • Defining market, competitors' share and competitors' strengths and weaknesses.
    • Forecasting projected business, establishing targeted market share.
    • Improves product marketability, profitability by researching, identifying/capitalising on market opportunities and coordinating new product development
    Budgeting & Pricing

    • Meets sales financial targets by contributing to forecasting requirements
    • Preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances, initiating corrective actions
    Reporting

    • Provides management information by collecting, analysing and summarising data and trends.
    Professional Standards/Personal Development

    • Protects the organisation's value by executing duties in accordance with company values.
    • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organisations.
    Experience/Qualifications

    • Proven client relationship background in asset management and/or investments.
    • Currently involved in day-to-day client relations/sales as well as a thorough knowledge of processes and strategy.
    • Understanding of the investment management/financial advice segments of the market and have relevant experience with established firms in the UK.
    • Financial Services relevant qualifications, CII, CISI etc.
    • Familiarity within a regulated environment
