East Lancashire Hospice is a registered charity, founded in 1984. We support and care for patients with a life limiting illness, their families and others close to them.

We provide this in a number of ways; at the hospice and in people's own homes across our community of Blackburn, Darwen, Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley.

With approximately 120 employees and over 250 volunteers, our people are our biggest asset whom we value tremendously.

IT Team Leader


East Lancashire Hospice is embarking on a period of significant growth and to achieve our ambition we need an IT infrastructure that is robust, fit for purpose and future proof.

The IT team leader is a new post created to help us develop our IT infrastructure and support the hospice team to be their best, and deliver an outstanding service.

You won't be alone, as you will work closely with our external IT support partners to develop and implement key infrastructure projects along with daily BAU activities.

You will have Microsoft Qualifications to MCSE level or equivalent working experience and have worked in an IT environment.

You will be happy to roll your sleeves up and provide a range of support to the team here at ELH.

The salary for this role is £31, Working 37.5 hours across 5 days flexibly to meet the needs of the Hospice.


We have an excellent, collaborative working environment with a generous holiday allowance of 27 days + Bank Holidays with the option to buy additional days.
