    Description

    Senior Internal Auditor

    Internal Audit conducts independent evaluations of internal control processes and advises on the efficiency of systems, controls, and operations.

    Through ongoing risk assessment and resource allocation, Internal Audit responds promptly to changes within AXA XL.

    Internal Audit offers valuable solutions to help AXA XL achieve its objectives by applying a systematic, disciplined approach to risk management, control, and governance processes.

    The Senior Internal Auditor will lead all aspects of audits at AXA XL, including planning, execution, and reporting, ensuring compliance with departmental standards and utilizing Internal Audit technology tools to provide an unbiased assessment of internal controls to management, the AXA XL Audit Committee, and relevant governing bodies.

    - Oversee all planning, execution, and reporting of audits - Adhere to Institute of Internal Auditors standards - Assist in developing a group-wide risk-based audit plan - Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders - Utilize data analytics tools for audit planning - Provide mentoring and coaching to team members - Assess the effectiveness of financial, operational, and compliance controls - Prepare audit reports and related documents - Represent Internal Audit in major business initiatives - Conduct ad hoc audit projects - Interact with business unit management on control deficiencies You will report to an Internal Audit Manager or Director.

    BA/BS/BSc in Accounting, Auditing, or Business preferred but not mandatory.

    - Previous internal or external audit experience is a plus - Strong project management and interpersonal skills - Solid track record in conducting high-quality audit work - Knowledge of insurance processes and risk-based audit approach AXA XL is a renowned division of AXA known for its expertise in solving complex risks.
