    Starting salary of £24, with a salary increase after probation period.


    Ador Talent is collaborating with an Engineering company in Darwen/Blackburn that specializes in developing, constructing, operating, and managing centralized and efficient engineering solutions.

    Due to continuous expansion and recent project completions, our client is seeking Contract/Billing Administrators to join the Metering & Billing team at the Blackburn headquarters.

    The Role:

    Issuing final, monthly, and quarterly credit bills and reminders for assigned contracts while ensuring compliance with established business processes.

    Accurate reporting of additional bills to capture extra revenue.

    Providing customer service to meter and billing customers through various communication channels such as online ticketing, telephone, and email, meeting agreed upon service level agreements.

    Managing bill payments and offering customers their preferred payment methods.
    Conducting monthly client calls to discuss updates, issues, and progress.

    Handling credit billing contract procedures including overdue bill reminders, monthly client reports, and internal reporting.

    Daily management of direct debit requests, including setup, verification, amends to mandates, and preparation of collection files.

    Collaborating with senior co-ordinators to facilitate new contract mobilization and onboarding of customers.
    Handling administrative tasks related to new customer account requests (i.e., issuing welcome packets/letters)
    Addressing escalated customer dissatisfaction, complaints, and billing inquiries with a Right First-Time approach.
    Collaborating with senior co-ordinators to support onboarding of new contract awards and new customers.

    Experience Required:

    Previous experience in billing/invoicing is advantageous.
    Exceptional customer service skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
    Knowledge of GDPR regulations concerning the handling of sensitive personal data.
    Strong focus on detail and accuracy

    Flexible approach to workload management, capable of working under pressure, meeting deadlines, and prioritizing tasks.

    Clear and concise communication skills across all levels using various communication means.
    Ability to work effectively within a team framework, fostering relationships to achieve common objectives.
    Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
