We are seeking an organised and experienced Accounts professional to join a growing division of a well - established Rooflight manufacturing company.

The role will be based in the Diss office with the potential for some hybrid working once the probationary period has been successfully completed.

The role is offered on a permanent basis working Full time hours. The starting salary is £24,000 upwards depending on experience.

The Company


The company are a specialist commercial glazing refurbishment and renovation company operating within the construction and building management markets across the UK, Europe and the USA.

Part of a successful group of companies who are continuing to expand their offering of services within the Rooflight industry.


The Role
An exciting position has become available for an Accounts Assistant due to an increase in the workload.

Working within a small Company the tasks will cover all sales and purchase ledger duties including raising intercompany sales invoices, credit control and bank administration.

Reporting directly to the FD and completing financial and administration tasks including:

  • Performing all aspects of the sales ledger, from day to day invoicing up to credit control for any outstanding debtors
  • Receiving, inputting onto Xero and managing the process flow (authorisation) of all purchase invoices
  • Reporting daily money in and ledger allocation
  • Managing the supplier payments due via inputting payments onto banking software for the FD to approve.
  • Allocating payments on Xero
  • Monthly Bank reconciliation

This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who is seeking a responsible and diverse position that will grow organically over time and with experience.

We are seeking someone who is ideally full or part AAT qualified and who is seeking a something that offers a little bit more.

This is however not a necessity as on the job training will be provided.


Skills and attributes for this position:

  • Good working understanding of the Xero accounting system
  • Good working experience completing sales ledger/ purchase and credit control functions
  • Good IT Skills including MS office suite
  • Flexible, adaptable, hardworking and "cando" attitude
  • Must have a great eye for detail
