    Description


    Purpose of the RoleThis position has full P&L responsibility for customers in UK and managing distributors in Greece and Turkey, including Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Perfumery, Lab and Evaluation.

    With a current headcount of 40+ staff, this position is an important and critical commercial leadership role, part of the global leadership team.

    Accountable and responsible for developing the sales and business development capability of CPL to achieve revenue growth and enhance market leadership.

    Accountabilities & Responsibilities P&L and Budget accountabilities and responsibilitiesFull P&L and budget responsibilitiesDrive commercial business growth in UK and manage distributor marketsManage department heads of Sales, Customer Service, Lab, Marketing, Perfumery and Evaluation in UKWork with UK manufacturing team to deliver outstanding services to customersEnsure health and safety on site and to develop CPL environmental initiatives Build a competitive market driven and commercially savvy organizationWork with the relevant team to establish competitive sales and business development capabilitiesIdentify and articulate CPL technology strength and capabilityIdentify potential new customers / KA and create CPL technology awareness networks to generate new business interestsHelp local country team navigate the business development pathway to ensure they effectively approach and capture the business opportunitiesDevelop a strategy to capture and maintain a competitive intelligence database, ensuring accuracy of informationEngage targeted existing and new business customers and KAEstablish a direct relationship with customers to help them achieve their objectives and build long term relationshipIncrease the connectivity of customers / KA with CPL technologies to support their desired outcomesPositioning and bundling products ranges to provide value add initiatives to generate revenueUtilise data to identify target opportunities and develop effective business initiatives and events to generate growthShare market intelligence insights and data to ensure appropriate action is taken to position CPL as a choice of considerationDevelop targeted and scalable communications to promote the CPL technology to customersLeadership and collaboration Provide leadership to the overall team and ensure necessary collaboration and communication between the sales team and all support functionsInspire relevant team and resources to collaborate and work transparentlyEnsure and encourage best practice and success stories are shared across the organisationThink strategically, analytically and solve problems through investigation and research and shows judgment in decision makingDevelop and manage a high performing team Skills and KnowledgeRelevant business degree essential.

    MBA preferable10+ years relevant industry experience in a B2B technology environmentStrong analytical and business development experience preferableInternational experience and a proven track record of successfully navigating and understanding diverse markets are highly desirable.

    Demonstrated track record in developing and implementing sales and business development strategic plans and programs that deliver business outcomesDemonstrated ability to understand and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders in different countries and culturesDemonstrated ability to work with stakeholders across the organization to develop and implement strategyHigh-level written and communication skills
